Daiki Suisan grew out of a single fish shop that opened in Osaka in 1975 and, as of January 2026, runs 35 Daiki Suisan Kaiten Sushi restaurants. According to its official site, it insists on fish shipped direct from the source through direct dealings with fishing cooperatives and producers around Japan, and at its conveyor-belt sushi restaurants the chefs in the open kitchen talk customers through the day's catch, drawing on the company's fishmonger know-how. The Dotonbori branch is on the ground floor of the Shikairo Dotonbori Building in Dotonbori 1-chome, and the official store page describes it as handy for Namba, Shinsaibashi and Ebisu-bashi. Daiki Suisan's Sushi Seminar Dotonbori is on the third floor of the same building.
It is open 11:00 AM to 11:00 PM (last order 10:30 PM) every day of the year. Payment by credit card (Visa, Mastercard, JCB, American Express, Diners Club, UnionPay), transit IC card, iD and code payments such as PayPay, Alipay+ and WeChat Pay is accepted. Takeout and delivery are also available. Since April 1, 2026, it has taken part in the Osaka Amazing Pass (Osaka Shuyu Pass) offer, which bundles unlimited Osaka Metro and city bus rides with free entry to sightseeing spots: show the pass screen while it is active when you pay and you get 10% off eat-in meals (not combinable with other discounts or coupons; takeout excluded).
