According to its official site, it insists on fish shipped direct from the source through direct dealings with fishing cooperatives and producers around Japan. The Kyoto Tower Sand branch is on the basement floor of the Kyoto Tower Sand shopping complex. Daiki Suisan has named the bluefin tuna it fattens in Ine Bay, Kyoto Prefecture, Kyo-maguro, and sells it mainly at its Kyoto restaurants from September to January (availability varies by season and branch).
