Okonomiyaki Usagiya: Shinsekai’s Oldest Okonomiyaki Shop Since 1951

Usagiya has operated in Shinsekai since 1951 and is considered the oldest okonomiyaki shop in the neighborhood, just off the main Tsutenkaku-dori street near the tower. It is a small, mostly counter-seat restaurant with an old-school, local atmosphere distinct from the larger Dotonbori chains.

Being close to Tsutenkaku and the Shinsekai kushikatsu district, it is a convenient stop for visitors already sightseeing in the area, though its hours and opening days are more limited than bigger okonomiyaki restaurants.
